The Morobe Show is the premier venue in Papua New Guinea for some of the best Traditional Dancing able to be seen. The Traditional Dancing Groups (or “Sing Sing Grups” in pigin english) perform at the Show on the Sunday after the official opening of the Show and the display lasts for some hours.

The range of groups on display is the largest variety and cross section of groups that can be seen performing anywhere in PNG and usually all provinces are represented. Between 1,500 and 2,000 performers usually attend and each year there are always one or two sing sings that have never been seen before or very seldom seen and are quite uncommon.

International Tourists

Tourists and Tour Groups are catered for and special arrangements can be made to accommodate them if necessary. This includes being collected and dropped back to hotels by bus, seating in special areas better suited to taking photographs, meals and refreshments and by arrangement exclusive access to the performing arena. Contact the Secretary for assistance in this regard.  Costs for Passes can be found in the Membership & Info page in this site.
