Programme for Station Horse & Rider Events

Saturday - 8am

Class:

4101 Best Presented Horse - Individual Event
4102 Supreme Led Horse - Individual Event
4103 Horse Control - Individual Event
4104 Novelty Steeplechase - Individual Event
4105 Steer Un-decorating - Individual Event
4106 Shuttle Relays (will be held if time permits)

Prize Money for each class– First Place K100, Second Place K75, Third Place K50

Sunday - 8am

Class:

5101 Show Jumping Team Event

  • Entry limited to 15 teams
  • 3 Riders/horses per team
  • Team & Individual Prizes
  • Teams are required to register at the Show Secretary’s office on Saturday 19th October between 3pm – 4.30pm
  • Prize Money – Team Event – First K300 per team, Second K225 per team, Third K150 per team

5102 Show Jumping Individual Event

  • Prize Money – Individual Event – First K100, Second K75, Third K50

5103 CHAMPION STATION RIDER Individual Event

  • Prize - Champion Station Rider – Saddle, Second place K150, Third place K100 .
  • To be judged over events held on Saturday & Sunday.

Notes

Show jumping:

  1. 3 members per team
  2. Teams must present themselves to the collecting steward as a unit
  3. There will only be 1 horse/rider combination on the course at anytime
  4. Each combination will be timed to enable the team and individual events to be judged simultaneously.
  5. 4 seconds will be added to the time of each combination for each knockdown, refusal and/or fall that occurs.
  6. After 3 refusals the rider/horse is eliminated.
  7. Prizes: Teams 1st, 2nd & 3rd ** Individuals 1st, 2nd & 3rd.

All competitors will be included in this event and will be accessed by the judges throughout the two days. The judges will prepare a shortlist of finalists and these competitors will be asked to come to the main arena after the show jumping for the final judging.

The judge’s decision is final.

Registration

a) Fees:

  • Weekend of events, excluding show jumping K2 per person
  • Show jumping – additional fee K3.00 per team

b) Class 5101 (Show jumping) at the Show Secretary’s Office Saturday 3pm – 4.30pm

All other classes at the Show Secretary’s office until 10am Saturday.

Show Secretary’s office open 8am – 12.30 pm daily from 7th October.
