SECTION1 - CATTLE

REGULATIONS:

  1. Consideration must be given to suitability of the breed for P.N.G. conditions.
  2. Baby beef steers must show no permanent incisors at the time of inspection.
  3. Heavyweight steers must show no more than 4 permanent incisors and should dress out at over 300 kg.
  4. In the On The Hoof-On The Hook competition each exhibitor is restricted to one entry.
  5. Judging - Fat Cattle - Saturday 8.30 -10 am Hook - Tuesday 9 am.

    Points will be awarded as follows:

    ON THE HOOF

    Conformation45 points
    Weight for age25 points
    Degree of finish and evenness of flesh30 points
    Total100 points

    ON THE HOOK

    Age and maturity25 points
    Conformation30 points
    Quality25 points
    Finish20 points
    Total100 points

  6. All Champions in Sub-Sections A & B will be eligible to compete for the title of Supreme Champion Animal of the Show.
  7. All entries in the Fat Cattle Sub-Section must be made available to the stewards prior to the Show for ageing and identification.
  8. Animals paraded in Grand Parade must be under adequate control.
  9. For purposes of led cattle the age will be taken as at 1st October of the year concerned.
  10. ENTRY FEE: K2.00 per entry.
  11. PRIZES: Ribbons and cash prize 1st: K100.00; 2nd: K80.00; 3rd K60.00 awarded in each class. Winners of the champion classes will not be awarded points toward the Most Successful Exhibitor Trophy. The Supreme Champion Animal will receive a trophy.

REGULATIONS:

1. Animals for this section must be suitable for the area.

2. Animals entered in the Best Fat Lamb & Best Fat Kid section must have baby teeth only.

ENTRY FEE: 50t per entry.

JUDGING: 10.15 am - 11.30 am Saturday.

PRIZES:

Ribbons with a cash prize 1st: K60.00; 2nd: 50.00; 3rd: 40.00 will be awarded in each class.

Champion Sheep - Sash and cash prize: K80.00.

Champion Goat - Sash and cash prize: K80.00.

REGULATIONS:

1. All pigs are to be manageable.

2. A porker is classified as weighing no more than 60kg live weight.

3. Entries are restricted to 2 per class.

ENTRY FEE: 50t per entry.

JUDGING: 11.30 am - 12.30 pm Saturday.

PRIZES:

Ribbons with a cash prize
1st: K60.00; 2nd: K50.00; 3rd: K40.00

SECTION 5 - DOGS

REGULATIONS:

1. Bitches in season cannot compete.

2. All dogs must be led and under control of exhibitors.

3. Dogs in class 3601 and 3602 or not eligible for class 3603.

4. All other dogs eligible for Class 3603.

5. First place winners only are eligible for Champion Dog.

ENTRY FEE: 50t per entry.

JUDGING: 4pm Friday.
