The Morobe Show is one of Papua New Guinea’s most significant annual events, bringing together agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, livestock, commerce, industry, education and culture in a spectacular celebration of the people and achievements of our country.
Held at the Lae Showgrounds in the heart of Lae City, the Show brings together communities, businesses, farmers, exhibitors, performers and families from across Morobe Province and Papua New Guinea.
Over the Show weekend, visitors can experience an incredible variety of displays, competitions and entertainment. From agricultural and horticultural exhibits, livestock and commercial displays to spectacular traditional dancing, cowboy and equestrian events, amusement rides and family entertainment, there is something for everyone.
One of the Show’s most anticipated attractions is the spectacular freestyle motorcycle stunt team, with daredevil riders performing breathtaking aerial displays throughout the weekend.
At its heart, however, the Morobe Show is about much more than entertainment. It provides an important platform for agriculture, industry, education, culture and community, allowing organisations, producers, businesses and communities to showcase their achievements, exchange knowledge and celebrate the diversity of Papua New Guinea.
The Morobe Show is proudly organised by the Morobe Province Agricultural Society (MPAS), a not-for-profit organisation supported by a dedicated team of volunteers who work throughout the year to ensure this important Papua New Guinean tradition continues for future generations.
