    Meet the Police

    The Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary, supported by the Australian Federal Police PNG-APP Advisors, will host an interactive marquee where children and families can meet local police officers and learn more about the important role they play in our community.

    Children can enjoy a range of fun activities including:

    • Make your own police hat.
    • Colour-in police activity sheets.
    • Have your fingerprints taken.
    • Take a photo with members of the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary.

    Parents and carers can also access valuable information on:

    • Family and Gender-Based Violence.
    • Child Protection.
    • Police Recruitment.
    • Road Safety.
    • Community Safety initiatives.
    • Other important issues affecting the people of Morobe Province.

    This interactive display aims to strengthen positive relationships between police and the Lae community while providing a fun learning experience for the whole family.

    First Aid Demonstrations

    The experienced team from International SOS will conduct hourly First Aid demonstrations throughout both days of the Morobe Show.

    These practical sessions are designed for both adults and children and cover essential first aid skills including:

    • Snake bite treatment.
    • Dehydration management.
    • Emergency response techniques.
    • Everyday first aid for families.

    Whether you’re an experienced first aider or learning for the first time, these demonstrations provide valuable knowledge that could one day save a life.

    Giant Slide

    No visit to the Family Arena is complete without a ride on the Giant Slide, proudly sponsored by Coca-Cola.

    A favourite attraction for generations of Morobe Show visitors, the Giant Slide promises plenty of excitement and laughter, making it a must-visit attraction for children throughout the weekend.
